About Meltar Supply
Tara Harmon-Kramer, the owner of MELTAR Supply, comes from a strong family of ironworkers in Pittsburgh. She has always been dedicated to giving her absolute best in everything she starts. This strong work ethic has been the foundation of her success throughout her career in the construction industry.
Starting from the bottom, Tara worked her way up through various positions in the construction field. Eventually, she took a bold step and successfully launched her own commercial roofing and contracting company in the northwest. After running it for 12 years, she decided to retire the construction company and venture into a new path.
With a clear vision in mind, Tara founded MELTAR Supply. Her goal was to create the largest woman-owned supply company in the nation. Over the past five years, MELTAR Supply has been providing construction materials to clients across commercial and public construction projects. The company has grown rapidly and now operates in all four time zones, making steady progress towards becoming a nationwide supplier of vertical, civil, and rail materials. Tara's dedication to growth remains unwavering.
To better serve their clients, MELTAR Supply has retail locations open to the public in Texas and Oregon. Additionally, they have multiple locations that offer on-site inventory services to their commercial clients. This approach ensures convenience and accessibility for their customers across different regions.
