About Ryerson Financial, LLC
I am a professional CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and an Accredited Behavioral Finance Professional. Additionally, I am the founder of Ryerson Financial.
The primary motivation behind establishing Ryerson Financial was to enhance the accessibility of financial planning for mid-career families and individuals who struggle to find impartial financial advice. Having worked extensively in financial services and wealth management throughout my career, I grew weary of the lack of transparency within the industry. The complex investment products and bewildering account types contribute to a sense of disempowerment, often leading individuals to rely heavily on others for financial management. Consequently, when contemplating the next phase of my professional journey, I realized it was time to create the financial planning experience I desired for myself.
My objective is to assist clients in achieving healthier financial lives and working towards a secure financial future, without acting as a "gatekeeper." As a financial planning firm solely focused on providing advice, I prioritize teaching clients the skills necessary to effectively manage their finances. My aim is to empower individuals and families who are keen on taking control of their unique financial narratives.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I dedicate most of my time to my husband and three children. We reside in Houston, TX, where I derive pleasure from reading (or listening!) to a diverse range of books, engaging in physical activities, and volunteering at my children's school. Additionally, I serve as a volunteer financial coach with Savvy Ladies.
