Recurring Event - Saturday Mornings from March 23-May11th
Project Reconnect is an identity and transformative program designed to assist veterans in reclaiming their sense of self, managing stress effectively, fostering mind-body harmony, and promoting thought architecture AKA brain rewiring. In a world where veterans often grapple with the profound effects of their service experiences, this innovative program provides a beacon of hope and healing.

Reconnecting:
As veterans return to civilian life, they often face the daunting task of reconnecting with themselves,
their families, and their communities. "Project Reconnect" recognizes that this journey can be as
challenging as any battlefield, and it offers a holistic approach to addressing the physical, mental, and
moral injuries of military service.

The program begins by engaging veterans in a safe and supportive environment, where they can freely
express their thoughts and emotions. Experienced facilitators lead participants through a series of
therapeutic activities, group discussions, and one-on-one sessions aimed at exploring their individual
identities and understanding the complex interplay between their experiences and their identity.

Core Components:
The program's core components revolve around the integration of mindful practices, such as: yoga,
breath-work, meditation, body-scanning, and physical fitness routines. These activities empower
veterans to reconnect with their bodies, fostering physical well-being and enabling them to regain a
sense of control and strength. By encouraging veterans to become attuned to their physical selves,
Project Reconnect; helps them transcend the limitations imposed by trauma and injury, establishing a
new identity.

The Heart of the Work:
The heart of Project Reconnect lies in its mission to promote self-acceptance. Through various
exercises and lessons, veterans are encouraged to embrace forgotten facets of their identities, offer
themselves forgiveness for perceived shortcomings/moral injury, and take pride in understanding what
it means to be human. The program provides tools for veterans to redefine their narratives, focusing on
their strengths, resilience, and understanding of their body and mind.

Conclusion:
Additionally, Project Reconnect encourages veterans to build a supportive community among
themselves, fostering a sense of camaraderie and understanding. Through shared experiences and open
dialogue, participants create lasting bonds that extend beyond the duration of the program, providing
an ongoing network of support and encouragement.

Project Reconnect is a beacon of hope for veterans seeking to heal the invisible wounds of their
service. It offers a path to self-discovery, self-acceptance, and reintegration into civilian life. By exploring
identity, promoting self-acceptance, and rebuilding the mind-body connection, this program empowers
veterans to reclaim their lives and embrace their futures with renewed strength and purpose.
